ZoE's first dose of heartworms meds was Sentinel...a vet freebie....then I changed to Interceptor, which has the exact same medicine for heartworm, just lacks the flea protection. I prefer to use a separate flea protection. My vet's highest recommended heartworm meds are both Sentinel & Interceptor.
I keep ZoE on it year round because we travel alot.
