I have an appointment this afternoon for Gizmo to get checked for heartworms before we put him on sentinel. Anyone use it? Pros? Cons? I dont like the idea of giving Gizmo medication every month but i guess its better than the alternative? We live in SoCal and there aren't very many cases of heartworms here since we dont have many mosquitos. I wonder if its better to just leave him alone and cross that bridge if it comes to it?
