My vet switched us from Heartguard to Interceptor a couple of years ago, and none have had any tummy issues with it at all.
I like that Interceptor has dosages that are for smaller weight ranges. For example Hearguard was for pups up to 22 pounds, while Interceptor has one that is only for up to 10 pounds. I don't feel like I'm putting all the extra chemicals into their little systems with Interceptor with their smaller dose size.
I should add that I never had any problems with Heartguard either - it's a good preventative. I'd probably still be using it if I hadn't moved and switched vets a few years ago.
