Wow! I am really glad I found this thread...I was going to post about this myself. I've been having the same problem with Trixie for about the past 2 days. Constantly licking and biting her foot...just seems to be one. I checked (late) last night and around the pads of her foot are swollen and red looking...not extremely, but noticably. We did change her food this weekend. Maybe that is it...I will try another food and see if this changes? I'd already said if she was still doing it today, I would take her to the vet. Really helpful info here...thanks everyone! Would love to get more feedback if anyone else has anything to add?
