He doesn't act starving, but maybe the kids are feeding him whenever his bowl is empty, LOL which would mean he's getting OVER fed, cuz I see how they feed him! LOL
I think I'll switch to 1/4 cup morning and night, and be more vigilant about it. My cat is a free feeder, and its very possible Baxter is getting into kitty's food....

I'm willing to bet that he is getting food elsewhere because 1/4 cup of Purina would not cut it for a young 7 pounder.
Definitely keep him out of the cat food, and find out what the kids may be feeding him.
