It's sort of a compromise. Hubby likes the "butterfly" look and the one time I did cut Maggie May's ears he didn't like it. When I told hubby I was taking him short, he didn't want me to shave Hot Rods ears. So that's why I just trimmed them around. They are somewhat uneven but hot rod was getting antsy so I just did what I could without stressing him out. I'll do a cleaner cut the next time. Lol
