The heaviness and loudness of clippers take some getting used to. The first try can always be a little embarassing but remember it's just hair. It will grow back. I just did my first groom on Troy and this was the result. I wanted a modified schnauzer cut. I saw the flaws of nicks, uneveness, choppy lines but ultimately I think he turned out okay for my first time. Hang in there.

I purchased economy clippers for $30 from Walmart.
His regular groom at the salon was $65 every 6 weeks. If I used the mobile groomer it was $100 every 6 weeks. Think of the savings and the reduction of stress on your little one.
