If you think that the bowl moving around is the problem, then yes give him a bit of time, even fold up a thick towel and place under the bowl and make sure it is sturdy and not moving and encourage him for a bit.
Then just stand back and observe and see what he does. Maybe just have to leave him alone for a bit and learn on his own. I don't think he'd starve, but keep an eye out to make sure he eats.
If you have to, get another type of feeding dish for him,then you'll have two. When you have one in the wash, the other one is ready for a meal. |
