23% protein is way too high for a pancreatitis patient. And it sounds like homecooked food is making up a large portion of the diet. That is fine if it is balanced by a veterinary nutritionist. Since it's not balanced, it can lead to heart and blood issues, etc. over time.
Most foods from the store will be too high in fat. You may find a few. If in doubt, ask about an rx diet.
