Jackson is the most laid back gentle soul and is very non-growly or confrontational, etc. However, if I am holding him and there is a dog that is not being polite and jumping up and getting in his face, he will do a snarl.
Actually, not to be a "breedist" (if that's a word? LOL) but a lot of dogs aren't fond of Boston Terriers play style. They are often very unique and very bouncy and use their paws a lot... some dogs just don't like that.
Like I said, Jackson pretty much loves every single dog he meets. Almost literally. But I think he feels more vulnerable up in my arms, especially if a dog is jumping up at him, etc. I wouldn't necessarily worry too much about it -- just keep her socialized, etc, and I'm sure all will be fine! |
