Good news.. my gripe is I wish it would be law that a vet should check for a microchip if he/she does not know you, and also even tho a vet might know you it should be a must when you bring in a new puppy or dog... I do not wear collars on my yorkies. Only have microchip.. When we travel they have a harness on. But not daily.
