it really is on how you train them. I agree about not teaching the speak command. I have three yorkies and a cairn and the only time i have any problems is when they see something out of the ordinary or when someone just knocks on the door. But if I clap my hands i can usually get them to stop. Good luck in your decision no matter what dog you pick there is always training involved
