I don't know about for dogs, but I remember back in 1997 when I traveled to Ecuador I got a rabies shot. Not only did it hurt like "h e double hockey sticks" but my arm was sore for a whole week. Now, I'm not a needle woos. Before the rabies shot I had a typhoid, cholera, hepatitis, and yellow fever shot...but the rabies shot HURT!! I can only imagine how our little babies feel when they get it done. We live in Jersey...so I guess it's necessary to get????
