Hello Yorkie Talk,
I'm a new member and I've been enjoying the site! I'm a 1st time owner of a Yorkie I've had my baby now for 9wks and he is the sweetest. My question is by looking at his coat can anyone tell if he will have a silky coat. The person I got him from had mom, grandma and a sister from many litters before. Grandma and sister were silky and mom well let's say she wasn't a very pretty sight. I'm hoping he will be a silky coat and I'm really thinking he will but I'm unsure his coat is thick but straight and on the top of his head is thinner and straight (the 1st time he went to the groomer they shaved him down a lot and that's how it grow in STILL VERY ANGRY THEY SHAVED HIM CAUSE I NEVER ASKED THEM TO)
. Oh yeah after they shaved him is when his hair went from black to grey on his head.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
