Wow- you have had your hands full. I agree with everything everyone has said in previous posts. I too got my pup at too young of age. She was 8 weeks old. I think you are expecting too much from him right now. He is so young.
I peepad trained her until about 12 weeks old. Then I started taking the pads outside but I had an enclosed area inside fixed up for her big enough for her bed(it was a travel bed with the door left open- I prefer an enclosed bed for them) and room for toys and peepad space. If I didn't have her in my arms, she was in that area. It didn't take her long at all to know to pee on the pads, only problem- if she felt paper on her feet, she thought it was fair game. When I started taking the pads outside, she started going to the door. I don't know but it seemed easy. Good luck and remember how young he is. |
