A "guide" is to triple the 8 week weight and double the 12 week weight BUT this is just an estimate. Its all genetics. Its very hard to give an accurate adult size.
In order to be registered AKC the parents need to be AKC registered.
I like to hold my puppies until they are 12 weeks because 8 weeks is still too young. I still have some trying to still nurse at that age
