I would talk to my vet about adding a supplement. There is the glucosamine supplements, cosequin and dasuquin to name a few. I have mine on the Dasuquin as my boy had lp surgery in one leg and has lp in his other. My girl has low grade 2 in both her knees and you would not be able to tell one bit--she is 3.
I would definitely look at getting stairs or ramps. The more you can prevent them from jumping it will help. good luck and just because they have loose knees does not mean surgery. |
