Ice teas are a much better solution than carbonated beverages but then you have to worry about sweetners and caffine.

I grew up drinking chinese black tea and just love it. I didn't drink it for years once I moved out on my own and found the brand mom used to drink and boat a huge container of it. I couldn't figure why I couldn't sleep...then it dawned on me, it had tons of caffine.

Now I pretty much stick with plain lipton--green or decaf teas and brew about 6 or 7 bags in a pot to make a pitcher of ice tea. I do use some Splenda just to give it a slight sweet taste.
I tried Truvia and found that it left a bitter after taste.
