Hello Yorkie Lovers,
My name is Harriet and I just rejoined this forum after perhaps a 10 year absence. The pic you see in my avatar ( if it worked) is a picture of my beloved Sasha who was my constant companion for over 12 years. Sadly, I had to make the most difficult decision of my life on Monday and have her put to sleep due to the severity of her health problems and a poor prognosis for recovery which would restore her quality of living and zest for life.
I miss her terribly and a psychologist friend recommended that I get another Yorkie when I felt the time was right. My husband and I decided that we would start searching for a reputable breeder and luckily I found one close to home on The Yorkshire Terrier Club of America site. We're planning on getting our new Yorkie in November.
I hope you won't think I'm a "downer" for posting this but this was all I thought I could say at the present to introduce myself. My advice is to cherish each day with these precious dogs and give them plenty of love and attention. Your life will be blessed by their presence in your life
