The kitchen tools/machines threads are *awesome*. One thread that comes to mind is buying ceramic knives vs. steel....that was interesting.
But one thread that just blew me away was the one that was about whether or not you could put your more expensive knives in the dishwasher. WHOA. I mean, WHOA. Pandora's box, I tell you! People got all hotheaded, links were furiously thrown in here, there, everywhere.
By the end of the thread, I still didn't know if it was okay or not to dishwash, LOL!
I forgot to say yesterday, the thing I love the most about CH are the restaurant review threads (by regional area, like southwest, east coast etc) -- I mean, people
really care about giving good recommendations and you can get so many ideas about where to eat in your area. I love hearing reviews from true 'foodies'.
