I don't want to steal concern away from Patti and Jack, but the only way to explain is through personal experience. The ortho that attended me in the emergency room SHOULD have followed the protocol for the type of injury I had -- he should have hospitalized me, let the swelling go down and then REFER me to an ortho specialists that handles the type of injury I have. Instead, he grabbed the $$ for the surgery and I have been in agony for 4 years.
I would suggest that Patti do a bit of research and find an ortho that specializes in the type of fracture that Jack has. Only then will she be assured that Jack will get the appropriate care.
More prayers and hugs to these special YT family members. |
Cindy...what you said makes sense. Patti took him to an ortho guy that she has had before, so she knows him and knows he's good!
I'll be praying that the surgery goes well and he has a pain free, speedy recovery!
