It could be that maybe she got bit by another type of insect...does she use a litter box or do you take her outside to go potty?
In my opinion, it is just the time of year when there are more bugs outside! You (and others) can even bring them in on you from the outside...some bugs will hitchhike in on purses, shoes, clothes, etc. It just happens. I remember once my vet telling me that during the summer your dog or cat may get a couple of fleas here and there even tho you may not have fleas in your house. So she could've got bit by a single flea and since she's allergic, she would have the same reaction. |
