This is similar to my Twilight start. I also teach and was seeing all these kids carrying these books. I thought a vampire/werewolf/shy girl love triangle sounded so silly.
Finally, I decided to read the first book to see what the fuss was about.
BAM! I was hooked, or obsessed would be better. I am always disappointed with the movies but LOVE the books
