You should have them harnessed and on a line when in your yard...not to mention you definitely need to be outside with him for safety reasons. Just having him on a leash wont protect him from a large unleashed dog, or an aggressive cat, or a bird of prey. Even well trained dogs will chase squirrels and the paperboy, so for his own good keep him leashed if you cant put up a fence. |
