I've met more people who are soft drink fans who have medical problems of one sort or another. Water is just not that bad! I make lots of infusions in my water - lemons, mint, cucumbers, limes, apples, oranges, whatever. You won't miss the bubbles for very long. Sorry you are going through so much with your leg, but it sounds like you may have a better result overall with the new treatments.
