Default Carbonated drinks and bone health

I quit drinking carbonated beverages cold turkey. It hurts! My favorite was Sparkling Water with lemon or lime juice. I felt obligated to share what I learned from the Ortho Specialist.


In a nushell carbonated drinks have high levels of phosphates and phosphorus and virtually no calcium. When phosphate levels get too high it pulls calcium from the bones.
