Awww, that was a sweet story. What an animal lover! I probably would have done the same thing. I saw a big dog crossing the road right in front of me and I pulled over and looked for 20 minutes but could not find him, I still hope he found his way home. There were some houses through the woods. But it saddens me when nobody else stops and I know others saw it too. There was another time I was pumping gas and a big ole' Rottweiler looking dog came up to me and it startled me but gosh he was so sweet. It was on a REALLY busy road so I was concerned and grabbed him by his untagged collar and asked the gentleman next to me that this dog just came up to me, he just shrugged and got back in his car.
