My vet said they would only do the surgery as a last resort. We keep Kayla cool, and try to never let her get excited. (thats hard) We have a humidifer in our bedroom and runs all the time. We give her Benedryl an hour before she goes to the vet so she doesn't have a spell. Keeping their weight down is another thing too. Kayla is on a special diet right now. Hope this helps some. |
