No. There is no way for him to stick his head out unless you partially unzip the top of the purse and he is tall enough to pop his head through (which I wouldn't recommend, because is puts alot of stress on the zipper and the zippers are not fantastic quality.) It's definately a concealment purse to sneak pups in places. But the front & back panels can be rolled up to reveal mesh so he can look out and it gives better ventilation.
