I've put a lot of thought into it, and I think I'm not going to rule out getting a male just yet. I like the idea of a more playful and affectionate - toward - mommy dog (Lindsey wants some lovin' too!). I Googled it and read a page about males vs. females (of course it's a generalization, I know it doesn't apply to all dogs and it is based mainly on their individual personalities) and read it aloud to my husband and he said, "You sure you don't want a male?" Lol! I am just hesitant that he would mark everywhere, and I would be mortified! Any advice?
