I've had friends that had a laproscopic hysterectomy (one just last week), and it was much easier than the traditional hysterectomy. I'm sure it must be much easier on a dog, too.
I brought my friend dinner last week only two days after she had hers, and she was doing really pretty good, getting around really well. I wondered then why they didn't use a laproscope for spays -- now you have answered my question and I have learned that they are doing this. I think it's great.
