I've been thinking about this for two straight days and I'm still just so angry. Sorry, it's probably obvious I'm no help in how to distance ourselves from these issues. This is not meant to sound prejudice at all...but in S. Phoenix, there is a Native American reservation - and we see starving horses quite a bit. It kills me
. I think the reason for this is that their financial situations are so dire and also that the rescues for horses is so limited. I only note this situation bc it's fairly close to us.
I am glad to hear I'm not the only one feeling this way about this section...
