My Vet recommended the University because she herself went there. The Vet I am taking her to has also went to that same University which is a teaching hospital. I was excited to find someone who studied there.
If I take Lucy to the University I will have to wait a couple of weeks or so to get her in and I don't want to wait that long.
You have to understand...my nephew had open heart surgery by a highly recommended board certified heart surgeon and that surgery gave him a deadly infection that eventually killed him at the age of 17 so I don't put all of my eggs in the basket when it comes to Board Certified.
I will call my Vet tomorrow and ask her if the Vet at Blue Pearl (who she said was also a good place to go as well as the U of M) has experience in this specific issue and go from there.
Again I am sorry I snapped!
