Oh gosh, just noticed this...I grew up surrounded by horses on my parents horse farm. We had quarter horses. My sister went to Congress in Ohio 3 times and she kicked butt with "Okies Bay Moon". We were so proud of her. She rode western and huntseat. I'm mostly a western gal myself when it comes to riding! My dad passed away a few yrs back and my mother sold out of the horse business.
My sister who is 25 now, gave riding lessons for a while then went on to college and became a nurse. I miss the horses and the barn and everything involved growing up.
