I felt the same way, but Pixie was all of a sudden panicked by thunderstorms. I finally broke down and bought one and the first time I put it on she laid down for a couple of minutes and I thought greta it works. But then she was right back to panting, shaking and clinging to me. One night we had storms all night and I put it on and she stopped shaking but I held her all night and she was panting the whole time. So I wasn't seeing the results I had hoped for. The next night she woke me up by panting and shaking and sure enough a minute later I heard thunder. I put her thunder shirt on and held her. 10 minutes later she jumped down and i checked on her an she had gone in to my walk in closet and was laying in there. I discovered she likes to go in there when scared. I fell back asleep and when I woke up hours later she was sound asleep in the closet with her thunder shirt on. So I think it definitely helped Pixie but took a couple of times. We are expecting more thunderstorms this week so I will see if it continues to help.
