I have Oster clippers. I use the 1/16" comb. I also use several pairs of scissors. I tend to use a pair 8" curved pair quite a bit. They are wonderful because they pretty much curve around the shape of his ears, thighs and around his face. It takes a lot of the work out of it.
Hot Rod is 3 1/2 and is pretty much used to being groomed, thankfully. He sits so well when I am doing the hair between his eyes. I can not take all the credit, he did go to the groomers when he was a pup so he was used to being handled.
