I pick it out with the fingers too, haha! I am too worried to use a comb near their eyes since they wiggle about so much. After I get any build up out, I will just a cotton square soaked in warm water to clean the area. I try to clean their eyes every morning, so there isnt usually too much buildup anyway.
I really only need to clean Armani's eyes- he tends to take care of Chloe's for me- and his little tongue works better then anything I have tried. So another Yorkie is always an option!
