I wouldn't force them to share a kennel, especially if it belonged originally to the older one. Give them each their own kennel, side by side. A kennel or bed are very personal things, territory. They probably will eventually share (as my boys do), but to reassure your older boy, don't give his things over to the puppy or force him to share.
