Congratulations on the new addition to your family. Some dogs need time to adjust to such a change, especially to a puppy who has a lot to learn. Put your older boy first for everything: greet him first, groom him first, and so on. Make sure he has a place to escape the puppy if he wants to, like a couch or anywhere the puppy can't reach.
Don't try to force a relationship. Let the boys establish relations on their own terms. Of course, step in if either one is in danger. You can encourage relations and reassure your older one by keeping his routine plus doing activities together, like trick training or walking or having a treat at the same time.
