Our puppy-mill rescue Leeza gets growths that look like cysts on both her paws. Leeza is about 5 years old and we have only had her for 6 months. Sometimes she gets them on both front paws at the same time. Our vet is great and has treated them with antibiotics (Simplicef 100mg for 7 days) and steroids (Prednisone 5mg for 5 days, 2.5 for 5 days, 2.5 every other day for approx 6 days). Leeza rook her last steroid a week ago and the same growth is back. Does anyone have experience with this that might help us find a treatment that prevents these "cysts" from coming back? The cysts get large and our little girl has trouble putting any weight on the paw(s). THX!
