It sounds like you have prepared yourself for this brief seperation and that you are doing your very best to see that the transition for Bailey will be uneventful. Dogs adjust and adapt much better than humans, and I would be willing to bet that Bailey adjusts and accepts her temporary home much quicker and better than you accept being alone for a few weeks.

There IS a light at the end of the tunnel -- and it's a short tunnel at that. So, think of it as an extended vacation for Bailey, put your nose to the books, get that degree and look forward to a happy reunion.
