LOL, actually mine is going most of the time as well thing is I had to keep waiting on a washer load to put them in dryer....lol

Hope this doesn't sound harsh because it is not my intention but there shouldn't be "blood dripping all over the place" imo from such a teeny tiny little girl, especially for a first heat?? Maybe a vet check is in order. My experience is that the first heat is very minimal and they keep themselves pretty clean but your little girl is different I guess.
True, that was my original concern but when I called the vet and described it to her she said it was ok...[/It is actuslly not a lot but you know how little drips of blood look and it was scary....everything is scary with a baby this small...

I agree with Teri about the pads or using disposable preemie diapers on her. I also have a type of pantie with suspenders so they cannot slide off. If you are interested I will try to find the contact info for where I bought them. When a tiny pees there is not much mess either imo. A teaspoon maybe after sleeping all night, etc. I have no idea why she would stop peeing on the pad as she was trained. Mine still use the pad when they are in heat.

That sounds great....suspenders.If you have the contact information of where to purchase them I would much appreciate you sending it on to me. Actually her tiny pees have become quite a lot because she has also been drinking much more then usual today. Hmmmm ya know I think I will take her to the Vet in the AM just to be sure everything is ok.

I would also be afraid of the anesthesia and risk of unnecessary and painful surgery on a tiny like her. I would look into options like tubal ligation or arthroscopic spay ...something less invasive than removal of all of her hormone producing organs that will still prevent her from getting pregnant but will be less painful and less risky.
I will also be asking her about the options you mentioned since I am still terrified of the anesthesia. Last year we lost a beautiful 6 month old puppy to anesthesia and that is something that is very difficult to get over.
