Yes, Mariela's is in LA. It's not a famous place, but it sure hits the spot when you are craving good Mexican, and you're not too concerned with your waistline.
Pinky's is famous for their hot dogs. I've only been there once, and we had to wait over an hour to get inside. There's another place in downtown that has a long wait. I haven't been there either, but I'd love to see what the hype is all about.
