Default Have you dealt with frogs????

Tonite I let the babies out in the back yard to tee tee and first thing, Kayla finds a frog and bit it. She started shaking her head and gagging. I got them in the house and she was so sick. I rinsed her mouth out and called the emergancy vet and they said we did not have to bring her in unless she would not eat or drink. I gave her a bath and rinsed her mouth out again with water and usually always give them a couple of cherrios when they are good grooming. She did eat them and then I brought her in and gave her a bowl of water with ice, thinking that would entice her more to drink of it was cold. It did, and she did drink. Thank goodness. They said to watch her for a couple of hours to see if she just layed around and if she seem lathargic to bring her in. Has anyone ever dealt with this before. I just didn't know if frogs could be toxic to our little ones.
