  How would this help ? It does not answer my questiion at all and I have already said I intend to have her spayed as soon as possible,.
Perhaps if you had lost a 9month old puppy on the operating table to anesthesia you would not be so harsh about your comments. 
When I got her she had kennel cough for over 4 months thanks
to a lousy breeder so we could not even begin to think about it until recently.We never had any intention of breeding her and my question asked for help from knowledgeable people as to methods of keeping her comfortable until this passes. I did not ask for advice re:spaying.So your suggestions are moot. Thank you.
