My yorkie, Lily, is always up, playing and chasing the cats. Yesterday she was listless, wouldn't eat in the afternoon and had diarrhea. She ate in the morning and something happened, possibly eating something she shouldn't. This happened all of a sudden.
Today she vomited all food but no more diarrhea. She still is listless. I had a similar experience with another dog that ate something he definitely shouldn't have and it took a couple days for him to get over it.
No more vomiting either but she will only drink water. I tried a small bit of rice but to no avail. Her stomach also feels bloated to me.
If anyone can give me suggestions as to what this may be (dog flu?, ingesting something) please let me know. If she doesn't feel better by tomorrow, she goes to the vet. Thank you.
