Can't change a bike tire?? A grown man?? You gotta be kidding! I've been able to do that since I was a little kid. At least guys like that keep you in a job.

I'm pretty handy, as are most all the guys I know. We can all do some carpentry, mechanical work, know how to clean a house and cook, too!! Really, between me and my friends, there's very little we can't do on our own. If we need a little help, there's always a buddy and we swap favors. Isn't that how it's done?

BTW, my bike is a 1973 Peugeot PX10-E. I bought it new and it's still in cherry shape. It's not completely original....I've changed the rims out to accommodate clinchers instead of sew-ups and now have sealed bearing hubs. I put on some side-pull brakes and have fingertip shifters. Other than that, it's as it was made...a real classic.
