Dolce also had very wavy/curly hair when I first got her at 4months. Now that she is almost 8 months old her hair seems to be straightening out. It gets even straighter when I bathe/blowdry her. Your puppy looks like its just the puppy coat still and it will change most likely as he gets older. Here is a pic of Dolce when i first got her and a pic of her just the other day.
