Thanks everyone for the prayers and good thoughts for Gizmo. He came out of surgery this morning and everything went good. The doctor even pulled all of his remaining baby teeth so now I have a little Gizmo teeth collection. I didn't get to see him until a few minutes ago because of course I had to work a double. My husband went out and bought Giz a beautiful doggy bed that's soft a furry (and on sale at Target hint hint) so he's been sleeping all day in it.

Right now he's curled in bed between my husband and I sound asleep.
Paws and fingers crossed that we don't need to get Giz an e-collar. AKA the cone of shame.
