That reminds me of my younger yorkie. She follows me everywhere and when she is tired she will sit at the gate or go upstairs and wait for me. Did u get her younger than 6 weeks? If so, she most likely has used u as an imprint for her mother. Whikle it sounds adorable, I know how u feel. Putting something u have worn on the floor next to u as u work sometimes does the trick.
